Do You Want To Build A Snowman? North Berrien Kids Contest

The North Berrien Historical Museum is encouraging children of all ages to build a snowman and enter the “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” Kids Contest. Participants will need: snow (be creative if natural snow is not available), snowman accessories, a camera to take a picture of their creation, and the ability to send their image to info@northberrienhistory.org by Thursday, February 4th. The email should include the contestant’s name and age.

FACEBOOK VOTING will begin on Monday, February 8th at 1:00 pm and will be available on the Museum’s Facebook page until Monday, February 15that 1:00 pm. Results will be announced on the Museum’s page on Wednesday, February 17th.

EVENT AWARDS will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and will be determined by the total number of “Likes” the snowman receives.  

BONUS “LIKES” will be awarded if the entry incorporates any of the following:

- If the snowman is named after an historical figure – 2 Bonus “Likes”

            - 3 additional “Likes” will be awarded if this figure is from Berrien County

- If the entry includes the reason this historical figure was chosen – 2 Bonus “Likes”

- If the snowman’s accessories represent the historical figure – 5 Bonus “Likes”

Only one entry per contestant. The North Berrien Historical Museum reserves the right to disqualify any entry.
