Every school year, the North Berrien Historical Museum receives visits from several area classrooms. These field trips typically occur during the winter holiday season and in the spring.
During these visits, students learn local history, tour the museum, and partake in a take-home craft or activity. During the holidays, gingerbread houses are decorated. In springtime, activities have included constructing paper plate tambourines and planting peas.
The North Berrien Historical Museum makes an effort to tailor field trips to the curriculum of schools whenever possible. Teachers interested in scheduling a field trip at the Museum for their classroom should contact our Programs Director.
