In August 2019, we offered our first professional development program for educators to attend and earn State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs). Attendees learned about the contents of the Traveling Trunks. We plan to continue to collaborate with local schools in offering opportunities such as this for educators to learn more about educational outreach that the North Berrien Historical Museum is able to provide classrooms while earning SCECHs along the way.
