In 2020, Norris Arent of Coloma published Harvest of Plenty, a memoir detailing his long life and the sacrifices he made for the betterment of his family. From the obstacles faced by his Prussian ancestors who immigrated to Berrien County to the hardships Norris and his younger siblings endured to keep their family farm, the book is an inspiring story of adaptability and perseverance through challenging times.
In her presentation “Harvest of Plenty: The Legacy of Norris Arent,” Norris’ daughter Bev Arent Mathos will share highlights from the book and the process of compiling the family history. Copies of the memoir will be available for purchase. This program will be available both online and in-person.
