Basket Weaving Workshop. After a brief review of basketry in local history, instruction and materials will be provided to create your own hand-made paper bushel basket. Cost is $3 per basket. Please RSVP to 468-3330.

Annual Membership Dinner and Meeting. At the museum again this year, enjoy a meal with the historical society and cast your vote on the revised Bylaws. 6pm Dinner is $15/person (Please RSVP by Sept. 14.) Meeting at 7pm with Trains of Berrien County, presentation by Bob Myers, Curator, The History Center at Courthouse Square.

Wreck of the Lady Elgin, presentation by Valerie van Heest, Michigan Shipwreck Research Associates, Holland, MI. The worst disaster on the open waters of the Great Lakes occurred 150 years ago in Lake Michigan -- learn about the terrifying story and the exciting discovery of this shipwreck.

Halloween Cemetery Tours. On a stroll of beautiful, historic cemeteries, hear captivating stories about people from the past and answer fun Halloween trivia. Coloma Cemetery Tour is at 1 pm and Watervliet Cemetery Tour is at 3pm.

Historic Renovations in Bangor, presentation by Bob Emmert of the Bangor Historical Society. Learn about the recent award-winning restorations of the historic Bangor Elevator and Bangor Train Depot.

Holiday Open House. Enjoy festive crafts, music and refreshments with the whole family. View over 20 Trees decorated by local groups and vote for your favorite!

Winter Break Time Travelers. Experience winter in years gone by with a fun and interactive tour through time. Designed for Ages 6-12; familys are welcome. (In case of inclement weather, this program will be help December 30, 1-2:30pm).
